What are people saying about the
All Things Oz Museum?
Thomas Andersen 5 Stars
A surprise gem while visiting the area. As a huge fan of the original series of Oz books, I loved learning more about their history. The admission fee is VERY reasonable and there is lots to keep you busy, with a well-informed tour. Glad to hear that exhibits rotate. Will be back!

Michael S Milano — 5 stars Such a great time! Love me some Oz and Judy Garland. And to realize L.Frank Baum was born so close to my hometown?? Amazing.
Lindsay Morgan — 5 stars Unique oz items and awesome oz Items for view and to buy in the gift shop!! My first year at oz-stravaganza and I'll be going back next year!
Nancy Graves - 5 stars We went to All Things Oz in Chittenango. It was absolutely delightful. There is so much history about L. Frank Baum and his first book The Wizard of Oz on up thru his life with beautiful displays of authentic items. Can't begin to mention all that is in this Museum. The guides were so kind and informative, going out of there way to give us a wonderful experience. We will definitely be making return trips.
OPEN LETTER IN SUPPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL L. FRANK BAUM AND ALL THINGS OZ HISTORICAL FOUNDATION AND ALL THINGS OZ MUSEUM
As lifelong members of the Oz Community, my wife, Clare and I have always dreamed of a museum and historical center dedicate to my Great Grandfather’s total body of work. His book series, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was an instant favorite from its very release some 115 years ago and has led to L. Frank Baum being considered America’s First Fairy Tale Author.
To know the story of Oz, you must know the author. All Things Oz is more than a tribute to a book series; it is a fascinating trip through the life of its author, his wife, Maud Gage, and all the many experiences that shaped his imagination and his world.
We are honored as members of the Baum Family to lend our continued support to the concept and rational of The L. Frank Baum and All Things Oz Historical Foundation and Museum. We feel there could not be a more fitting place than L. Frank Baum’s hometown in which to establish this museum and historical center, dedicated to “All Things OZ,” because there really is “No Place Like Home.”
Clare and I hope you enjoy your trip “down the Yellow Brick Road,” and come away with a heart full of joy and a sense of who “the man behind the curtain” was.
We hope you will join us in supporting all the tireless staff and volunteers who make this Museum and all its events possible. Hope to see you at Oz-Stravaganza!
Ozily yours,
Robert Baum
